About Me

Annemarie Tallevi has been a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist for 19 years.  Prior to pursuing her career as a massage therapist, she worked as a Certified Recreation Therapist at Blythedale Children’s Hospital.  Her 7 ½ years of experience working with children with disabilities fueled her desire to find another path to make a positive impact on a child’s life.  With her education at The Swedish Institute for Massage Therapy in New York City, as well as her additional training in Infant Massage, she was able to bring the essential benefits of touch to both patients and parents.

After being blessed with 2 beautiful children of her own, she devoted the next phase of her life to being a stay-at-home mom.  Massage continued to be a crucial part of her daily routine allowing it to help her bond with her children.  It also taught her the importance massage has to one’s mental and physical health.

When Annemarie returned to the work force, she continued to gain knowledge and experience by working in various settings such as spas, chiropractic offices, fitness facilities and corporate offices.  These experiences have provided her with the ability to cater each session to the individual needs of each client. She believes that the integration of consistent massage into one’s life is an absolute necessity to counteracting the impact of everyday stress.  Assisting clients on their path to well being through relaxation has been extremely rewarding.  Annemarie strives to assist each one in "finding calm in the chaos."
